Our mission began in 2022 and was founded by fans for fans who share a passion for WKU. We continue to ensure Western Kentucky University remains at the forefront of the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape, all while making a lasting impact on our community.
At the heart of the Red Towel Trust NIL Collective is our unwavering commitment to working hand-in-hand with WKU student-athletes. We understand the unique challenges and opportunities they face, and we are here to empower them to seize their potential both on and off the field. By facilitating and encouraging student-athletes to dedicate their time and energy to local causes, we’ve seen firsthand the positive change they can bring to the communities they call home while on the Hill. Our collective recognizes that student-athletes are not just exceptional on the playing field, but also possess remarkable potential off it. We provide the support and resources they need to harness their talents, whether it’s pursuing educational opportunities, building their personal brands, or making a difference in the world.
In the ever-evolving landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness, we are committed to ensuring WKU student-athletes are at the forefront. Our collective efforts have resulted in over $350,000 in our first year in opportunities for student-athletes to leverage their NIL, allowing them to focus on their education and athletic careers without financial constraints.
